The interior and decor are greatly inspired by the Asuka period (AC 538-710) as umbrellas were considered to be a luxury item due to its spiritual significance. Thus, Scott Carpenter recreated the luxe vibe with a minimalist approach - oil paper, umbrellas, and bamboo.
